The Morton County Road Commission
The Board supports the work of the Highway Department by providing mission-based leadership and strategic governance. Day-to-day operations of the Department will be led by the County Engineer and the County Highway Superintendent. The Road Commission will not have oversight or governance over the day-to-day operations, unless the involvement is appropriate and necessary. The Morton County Road Commission meets once per month.
Any qualified elector of Morton County is eligible for appointment. This is a 4-year term expiring 12/31/2030. Deadline to apply is December 15, 2026.
